Our Vertical Kate holds three regular and/or jumbo spools/Bobbins.
The Kate folds flat with spools on the threaded rods to prevent them coming loose and for optimum portability.

Alexandra’s Crafts Traveling Lazy Kates are solid wood and come in a variety of hardwoods. All are hand made by us in Oregon’s Willamette Valley.
Our Vertical Kate holds three regular and/or jumbo spools/Bobbins.
The Kate folds flat with spools on the threaded rods to prevent them coming loose and for optimum portability.
Please note that since each Lazy Kate must be shipped individually, combined shipping is not available with Lazy Kates.
All Lazy Kates are shipped Standard Flat Rate Priority mail.

Busy Kate

While I have yet to ply my singles with this kate, I like its design: easy to move, easy to store, and heirloom quality workmanship. It could also function as a supplementary kate for wheels that have built in lazy kates for when the spinner wishes to ply more than 2 or 3 singles together for yarn. It also has a tensioning device built in.

I absolutely love it
Everything I want in a Kate and more a side from looks she is gorgeous. She works great smooth hold my bobbins standing or folding as you know I think it’s the best one on the market
You might even think of making one that holds 4-6 bobbins . I cant say enough great things about it
Beautiful easy to you well made great design folds for easy travel or storage it’s a 10+++++++
