Choose from a 30″ drive wheel in either ash or cherry wood, available as a single- or double-treadle wheel. Customize your order by selecting the flyer position on the left or right side.
Each Schacht-Reeves wheel includes three bobbins, two whorls, a Schacht-Reeves kate, and a Schacht-Reeves threading hook. Refer to the Specs tab for spinning ratios.
Important note: The Schacht-Reeves flyer shaft has a 5/16″ diameter, different from the original Reeves 1/4″ diameter. This means that current Schacht bobbins are not compatible with Reeves-made wheels. Replacement wooden bobbins for older Reeves spinning wheels can be ordered from Hill Creek Fiber Studio, (800) 874-9328.
